The clinical study confirms the formula’s ability to help protect the skin from UV-induced redness and boost overall tolerance to sun exposure—making it a unique addition to modern sun care routines.
The independent study titled “A Dietary Supplement Containing Lycopene, Beta-Carotene, and Alpha-Tocopherol Improves Skin Tolerance to UV Radiation: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Double-Blind Study”, explored the efficacy of an ingestible formulation in protecting the skin from sun-induced damage.
The double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involved 74 participants and evaluated the effect of LUMINA365 after just 8 weeks of daily use. The results were remarkable:
- 46.2% reduction in UVB-induced skin redness
- 23.8% improvement in Minimal Erythema Dose (MED)

“We developed Lumina365 to meet a real-life problem: people don’t always remember to reapply sunscreen. Whether it’s forgetfulness or inconvenience, sun protection can fall short. I call it smart sun care,” says Patricija Bajc, Head of Marketing at TOSLA.
